Ever wonder whose responsibility it is to insure tenant improvements, or what happens if your property isn’t insured to the correct value in the event of a claim? Or what providing Additional Insured status really means? Managing property and the insurance along with it can be complex and cumbersome if you don’t know where responsibility lies, and the requirements between Landlord, Property Manager, Tenant and other parties.

Don’t miss what will definitely be an informative and impactful session to help your clients and your business effectively transfer and manage risk.
Featuring two wonderful speakers:
Luke has built a reputation of being “the one to call” when it comes to his insurance specialty. He learns his clients’ businesses inside and out in order to build a strong partnership with each one. His list of qualifications and training is a long one. It includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta and his CIP designation. When he arrived at Lloyd Sadd in 2000, his experience as an underwriter would provide him a more-than stable foundation to eventually become a Senior Advisor and Partner within the firm. He quickly found his insurance industry niche and focused his now 25 year career on what he knows best: Real Estate/Property Management, Hospitality and Construction.
In the same way that Luke seeks to master risk management and loss prevention in his sectors, he grew up perfecting his game of tennis. He spent his summers training and playing in tournaments, that led him to be a nationally ranked tennis player as a Junior, and won his national title with the University of Alberta Golden Bears. His free time is now split between the tennis court and golf course ideally with his family. Luke volunteers in various Fundraising Committees and is an annual participant in Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation events and those that support the Mental Health Foundation.
With an innate desire to understand the heartbeat of any organization, Ross aims to build strong partnerships and further the success of businesses as they adjust to ever-changing economic climates. His goal is to develop a thorough understanding of each client’s unique traits and guide them through the risk management process. His true passion is meeting new organizations, learning about their long-term goals, and assisting them attain those objectives. He joined Lloyd Sadd with a long list of experience in the hospitality, real estate development, construction, manufacturing, and energy sectors.
